Have you ever been faced with a decision that was so hard to make, you just decided to “go with your gut”?

Well, as it turns out — there’s more to a gut instinct than just “intuition.”

Actually, it all has to do with the health of your physical gut.

Now obviously, a healthy, balanced gut means having better digestion…

But recent studies show it could also affect everything from how motivated you feel, to how well your intuition works.1

Now, I know that seems like a lot… but most of those decisions practically make themselves.

(After all, when you’re thirsty — you get a glass of water. It’s that easy.)

But they’re not all that easy.

Because some of your choices are “big ones.”

(Things like buying a new house, accepting a new job, or planning an expensive trip.)

Those decisions can’t always be based on “cold hard facts.” After all, there’s lots to consider — including your feelings — when you have a big decision ahead of you.

So sometimes, you might need to follow your gut instinct…

But how can you know if your decisions are being helped by a healthy gut… or not?

It’s simple. Do a “gut instinct check”:

  • When you have to make decisions, do you feel stressed out about them?
  • Do you feel so nervous that it sends you on a few extra trips to the bathroom?
  • Are you overcome by cravings for junk food, or the need to “stress eat”?
  • When you weigh your options… does your head start to ache or feel “fuzzy”?
  • Do you feel nervous butterflies after you’ve made a decision?

If you scored 3 or more, your gut health could be out of whack. And if that’s the case, your decision-making could be compromised, too!

So, to get in the right “state of mind,” you can work on what scientists call… your “state of gut.”

You can start by making sure you’re getting plenty of probiotics, and avoid eating lectin-heavy foods like whole wheat and tomatoes.

After all, when you love your gut, it’ll love you back…

And that means you can rest easy when it comes to making those big decisions.
